omg that truck is headed right for me!
Lordy Lord there is a mosquito buzzing around in my car right now and it is driving me bonkers! At least only one got inside, I'm camping out in Assateague Island on the Maryland side of the Chesapeke Bay tonight and the mosquitos and biting black flies are fully out of control here. While I was hanging on the beach today I was spraying myself with bug spray about every 5 minutes and I still couldn't deter the black flies, my friend concluded that they were actually enraged by the bug spray and thereby prompted to attack. It's all worth it though for two little words... WILD PONIES!!! Feral horses roam this island and its neighbor Chincoteague, they've been here since the late 17th century. They are super cute and very comfortable with people hanging out on what is clearly their beach. I happened to stay here on a night where there was a lunar eclipse, which I watched with rapt enjoyment as I ate 69 cent spaghettios right out of the can (Yeah I'll probably catch botulism someday soon, but I guess some women pay good money for that stuff). During the day, I've just been chillin' with my ponies on the beach.
Next I'm heading to my folks' house to fast for a couple of days, so I'm sure me being hungry and cranky and light-headed will make for totally tubular blogging content. I wanted to do something to physically prepare for my upcoming trip to Yogaville, a yoga ashram in Charlottesville, VA. Needless to say, my eating habits have been a little irregular since I've been on the road (reference: spaghettios above). Mmmm... 2 days of lemon juice, here I come!
